Champaca is a magnolia relative from South and Southeast Asia, and the flowers are strung into garlands. The absolute is rich, warm and floral with a tea-like dryness underneath. Linalool leads, at three quarters or more of the leaf oil and less in the flower, with benzyl acetate and phenylethanol filling out.
