Copaiba Balsam
Copaifera officinalis

Copaiba essential oil from Copaifera species is exceptionally rich in beta-caryophyllene (40-57% depending on species), the only known dietary terpenoid that selectively activates CB2 cannabinoid receptors without psychotropic effects, explaining its potent anti-inflammatory action.[1] A double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial found that topical copaiba oil produced a significant reduction in acne lesion counts compared to placebo, providing one of the few human clinical validations of its biological effects.[2]
